As a social reform advocate passionate about community service, I have become acutely aware of the pressing mental and physical health challenges faced by marginalized groups, as well as the broader social issues surrounding them. This portfolio seeks to address the struggles of Alzheimer’s patients, autistic teenagers, the elderly navigating Hong Kong’s strained healthcare system, and those affected by inadequate housing, through a fusion of medicine, artistic design, and social reform.
My inspiration stems from a personal loss—my grandmother, who had always been a pillar of warmth and strength for our family, gradually lost her memories to Alzheimer’s before passing away last year. The shift in her once bright, focused eyes to a state of cloudy confusion has left a profound void, but also a desire to understand her experience. This personal journey has become the driving force behind my work.
In my project, Melting Before Time Stops, I explore how Alzheimer’s patients perceive time, offering viewers a glimpse into their disorienting reality. The Inner Room delves into the inner world of autistic teenagers, while The Weight of Time portrays the hardships faced by the elderly in Hong Kong, using costume and stage design to reflect their struggle with limited healthcare resources. Finally, Cage Homes sheds light on the substandard living conditions endured by low-income individuals through sculptural installations.
Through these projects, I aim not only to provoke thought but to foster empathy and a deeper understanding of these often-overlooked communities.

my Art Portfolio
Through these works, I convey my longing and care for my grandmother while highlighting the challenges faced by the elderly, individuals with autism, and marginalized groups. In this context, art serves not only as a means of expression but also as a pursuit of hope and change.
